  • As a member of the Corporate Accounting team, Siegfried professionals were responsible for consolidated financial reporting, financial analysis, and other special projects surrounding business process improvement.

  • Identified key control weaknesses associated with operating various types of legal entities in 34 countries. Wrote and implemented policies to control cash and disbursements for operating procedures that would mitigate identified control weaknesses.
  • Identified control weaknesses associated with lack of segregation of duties in offices with minimal accounting staff and low technological sophistication. Designed and implemented policies that would mitigate weaknesses through review procedures, sign-offs, test matrices, and identification to create inter-office accountability and higher visibility.
  • Created Microsoft Access database of legal entity restrictions and statutory regulations by country to allow prevention of errors. Included summaries of currency restrictions, banking laws and additional items that would restrict transactions.
  • Created procedural manual for coordinator position as a step-in online and hardcopy desktop reference for new hire unfamiliar with company applications or divisional structure.
