Position Summary

The Business Analyst reports to the FP&A Manager and will work in various areas of the Finance and Accounting department.  The Business Analyst will work closely with the various members of the Finance and Accounting department along with other departments.  This position will support the FP&A Manager during our annual forecasting process and the Director of Investor Relations.  The Business Analyst will operate as a utility player to also support various Finance and Accounting leaders to accomplish the departments initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with various department leads as directed by the FP&A Manager to build the annual high-level and market-level forecast.
  • Provide analysis to support updating monthly assumptions for YTD projections and reporting.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, including but not limited to monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial/non-financial analytics (Sales – Weighted Average Full Time Equivalent (WAFTE) and Headcount, Rates, Hours and Client Service Incentives).
  • Assist with financial/non-financial modeling (5-year Forecast, Rolling Projections, Annual Forecast) at all financial statement levels, including but not limited to Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
  • Design and build new analytic offerings to enable key stakeholders to better monitor and evaluate our ever-evolving, dynamic business and assist with business decisions.
  • Assist with preparing key schedules and reports to support the Firm’s Board, Finance Committee and Firm-wide meetings and various other internal/external meetings.
  • Collaborate with Financial Business Systems Analyst to streamline and implement efficiencies in reporting and analysis in Workday including assisting in evaluating and implementing Adaptive in Workday for the forecasting process.
  • Collaborate with accounting team and various departments to ensure data integrity for monthly budget to actual analysis, including Executive Team (ET) reporting on Regional and Market levels.
  • Collaborate with National Sales Operations (NSO), Regional Market Directors (RMD) and Regional Chief of Staff (COS) to provide a consistent process for monthly projections.
  • Support the Director of Investor Relations with building annual Investor Statements.
  • Track annual profit allocations and distributions according to the LLC agreement.
  • Track Investor Promissory Notes and Interest payments and create statements to send to Investors after each Promissory Note payment application.
  • Work collaboratively with payroll to ensure the proper amount of interest is deducted from our employees for their related promissory notes.
  • Work collaboratively with our tax department to gathering and provide information for our Investor’s K-1s.
  • Assist with the various ad hoc Investor transactions as needed.
  • Assist with various month-end close and billing functions as needed.
  • Ensure that open communication and responsiveness are hallmarks of the internal client service provided to Siegfried colleagues.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 Year Finance Degree from Accredited University required.
  • Strong individual leadership experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong MS Office, specifically MS Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pivot between tasks and initiatives while delivering timely, high-quality work.
  • Workday or similar large-scale ERP system experience.
  • Ability to work 9-10 hours per day (or an average of 48 to 50 hours per week) consistently throughout the year.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Effective Time Management skills (self-motivated to manage schedule and projects).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand, growth-oriented environment with a high energy level.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment with demanding and high-quality expectations.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic and sound personal character.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees a plus.
  • 1-2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Location: Wilmington, DE.
