The Siegfried Group is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Siegfried Advisory, has been honored with the University of Delaware Lerner College 2025 Alumni Award of Excellence. This award recognizes exceptional career accomplishments, personal achievements, and community contributions.
Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Delaware in 1994, followed by a master’s in tax from Villanova University. From there, Jeff’s career began in earnest with EY. He then served as a Managing Director for The Siegfried Group before becoming Tax Partner at ParenteBeard. Jeff assumed his role of Senior Vice President of Siegfried Advisory in 2012, where he has managed the company’s leadership, tax, and financial advisory services to entrepreneurial organizations, their leaders, and high-net-worth families.
In his time with Siegfried Advisory, Jeff has been instrumental in the transformation from a boutique tax practice into a multi-disciplined firm, serving clients nationwide. Jeff has also been a key figure in his community, passionately making impact in various roles. He currently serves as a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware Corporate Board and the Delaware State Chamber Board of Governors. Jeff has also previously held roles as a board member for Special Olympics of Delaware and the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts.

The Siegfried Group’s connections to the University of Delaware are strong, and Jeff joins other key leadership members in receiving this honor, including Founder and CEO, Rob Siegfried (2001), Former President, Bill Schieffer (2004), and Executive Vice President and CFO, Finance and National Sales Operations, Andrew Lavelle (2012).
